About the foundation
A Legacy Built on Opportunity
Beverly Beall and R. Kemp Riechmann established the Foundation in 1997 with a meaningful purpose: to help capable students overcome financial barriers and pursue an education.
The Foundation awarded its first scholarships to two Manatee High School graduates in 1998. What began with a focus on four-year college scholarships soon expanded to support students pursuing technical programs, two-year degrees and other educational paths.
But Beverly and Kemp believed support should extend beyond tuition.
More Than a Scholarship
Mentorship became a defining part of the Foundation’s work. Through personal relationships, regular communication and practical support, the Foundation helps students navigate academic, career and real-life challenges that can stand between them and graduation.
